Oppomiculture (əˈpəʊmɪˌkʌltʃə), is a project about the peels of fruits passing through time.
Pomiculture is a Latin word that means ‘fruit-growing,’ whereas my project is about fruit peels dying as time passes by.
What I would like for Oppomicuture to do, is that we may observe these ordinary fruits closely, to spark up new discoveries and realizations. Although the work may seem overwhelming and absurd, the fruits we consume are fully deserved to be glorified. “Remember to eat your fruits and veggies!” This phrase echoes in our ears because since young we were told that they keep us healthy. Therefore, take a moment, step back, and salute the sacrifices of these fruits. Let us now praise these famous fruits.
